Sony Claims Its Motion Tech Will Beat Natal And Wii

Set to launch and compete with the impressive Project Natal, few people have high hopes for Sony's upcoming motion control system which promised nothing more than what Wii MotionPlus already offers.

But Sony thinks otherwise.

In a recent interview, John Koller, Sony's head of PlayStation marketing, made a bold claim that neither Wii nor Project Natal will not be able to stand against Sony's motion Control system when it launches.

"When we provide further details, people will see exactly where we're going, not only from a technological standpoint on the hardware, but also where the gameplay is transitioning," he said. "It's going to be a really exciting launch."

"Quite honestly, I think Project Natal and the Wii are going have trouble matching, from a differentiation aspect," Sony's Playstation marketing head concluded.

Like I said when the Natal news came out... XXX game designer will go nuts in a few years from now. LOL!But for every one else... well... I just don't think that a new (and weird) way of playing games will beat the old (and cheaper) way.This things will surely cost A LOT! Not to mention they'll be more likely to break than a 6 months old Xbox360.Games wont be able to use this technology in years... at least not in a good way, some expect some ugly and awkward gameplay in the begginig.And unless this things kill the old controllers (who knows...) there will be too few game devs out there willing to spend the time (and money) to make every new game playable with both the old and the new technology.
