Longtime producer and host of Spike TV's annual video game awards show, Geoff Keighley, is organizing a new game awards show with backing from the industry's most influential key players including the CEOs of Microsoft, Sony and Nintendo.
The Game Awards 2014 will take place in from the Axis Theater in Las Vegas on December 5th. Its advisory board includes Head Of Xbox Phil Spencer, Nintendo President Reggie Fils-Aime and Sony Computer Entertainment America CEO Shawn Layden. The board also includes Peter Moore and Yves Guillemot, the heads of EA and Ubisoft.
In a clear show of industry support, The Game Awards will be live-streamed around the world on Friday, December 5 at 9 PM ET / 6 PM PT on PlayStation Network, Steam, Xbox Live among other sites and platforms.
