Nintendo and McDonald's are partnering together once again to offer Super Mario toys along with the restaurant's famous Happy Meal.
The still-unannounced cooperation was revealed by NintendoLife who put their hands on an internal note that was given to McDonald's UK employees. The note reveals that the promotion will run through January 11th, 2017 to February 7th, 2017.
There are no details yet regarding the toys themselves, beyond the fact that the box will contain Super Mario characters in addition to an on-box challenge for the kids to use Super Mario's powers to find Yoshi who is hidden somewhere on the box. It also includes vouchers for 80% discount on two popular kids eBooks, which has become a regular gift with in current UK Happy Meals.
It seems very likely that this promotion is set to coincide with the release of Mario Run on iOS. It is still unclear whether this promotion will be limited to the United Kingdom only, but it is safe to assume otherwise given the global appeal of Mario, McDonald's and iOS.
