Ubisoft hired a "parkour officer," to consult on AC: Unity

Getting movement right in a game is no mean feat. Over the past few years we've seen much more realistic character movements be brought in, from better transitions between jogging and walking, to big jumps that don't spring out of nowhere, instead moving fluidly from one to the next. To make its next free running title much more accurate, Ubisoft has hired on noted parkour expert Michael "Frosti" Zernow, to advise it on making the game's free running as accurate as possible.

He even has a sweet title, "Chief Parkour Officer."

"Ubisoft’s new Chief Parkour Officer will serve in a strategic advisory role, ensuring an ongoing commitment to the authenticity and accuracy of parkour beginning with the October 28 launch of Assassin’s Creed Unity, the next instalment of the 76 million unit-selling Assassin's Creed franchise," said the publisher (via MCV).

"He will also advise on ways for the company and its franchise to continue its ongoing advocacy for the sport."

Of course this isn't the first time "Frosti," has been part of an Assassin's Creed game. He's previously provided motion capture footage for the developers, though this is the first time he'll be directly consulting.
