In an interview with British gaming magazine PC Zone, Half Life 2 Episode 2 project lead, David Speyrer, had a little confession to make: they don't know how episode 3 will proceed.
"We don't know entirely what's happening in the next episode, but we're gonna figure it out!", Speyrer laughed as he confessed.
"There are always things we want to do that we can't because of the constraints of either the story or the arc we've laid out for the gameplay - or just time", he added. "So we shelve them and carry on. Ideas fly around here quite a bit, so we have this huge laundry list of things to try for the next thing..."

Bob- I agree!!!One thing that was always pissing me off in HL, as physically realistic as it was trying to be within a sci-fi story based game - it has yet to solve one critical issue: Why is Gordon floating legless?P.S.: The confirmation codes for sending these messages are getting more and more ridiculous.
