Warner Bros. Isn't Fixing Arkham Origins' Progression-Blocking Bugs

Batman: Arkham Origins hasn't been as well-received as its successor partly because it didn't introduce new gameplay elements and mostly because it was (and still is) riddled with progression-blocking bugs. Unfortunately, it seems that developer has decided not to fix that anymore.

"The team is currently working hard on the upcoming story DLC and there currently are no plans for releasing another patch to address the issues that have been reported on the forums," Arkham community manager Mercury posted on the game's official forums.

"If we do move forward with creating a new patch, it will try to address the progression blocking bugs for players, not the minor glitches that do not prevent one from continuing to play. The issues that are not progression blockers will unfortunately no longer be addressed," he made it clear.

"We apologize for any inconvenience this has caused for some of you, and want to thank you for having been patient."

The upcoming DLC mentioned above is part of the game's season pass which should be refunded if the DLC was to be canceled. Warner Bros. Games have already refunded Wii U Arkham Origins players when it announced the cancellation of all future DLC on that platform.

Batman: Arkham is one of the best game series in recent years. Sadly, it looks like Warner Bros. Games Montreal has botched up its latest game and is trying now to cut its losses and move on to another project.
