Watch Dogs PC system specs released

Watchdogs

While the world and his dog have been wowed by GTA V for the past couple of weeks, Watch Dogs is the game that has had a lot of people excited for a little longer. Being one of the first next-gen games to be debuted earlier this year, it was bound to get a lot of attention and part of that attention was on its visuals. There's lots of NPC civilians walking about in this game and the streets are intricately detailed. Next-gen consoles shouldn't have a problem, but will our gaming PCs?

Fortunately we can now put our rigs through a theoretical benchmark, with the minimum and recommended specifications:

Minimum

CPU: Quad core
RAM: 4GB
GPU: DirectX 11 graphics card with 1 GB Video RAM

Example 1

CPU: Intel Core2 Quad Q6600
GPU: NVidia GTX 460

Example 2

CPU: AMD Phenom X4 9750
GPU: AMD Radeon HD 5770

Recommended

CPU: Eight core
GPU: DirectX 11 graphics card with 2 GB Video RAM
RAM: 8GB

Example 1

CPU: Intel Core i7-3770
GPU: NVidia GTX 560 ti

Example 2

CPU: AMD FX-8350 Eight-Core
GPU: AMD Radeon HD 7850

If you're feeling like this is all child's play however, then maybe your PC is up to the Ultra standards?

Ultra>

CPU: Latest Eight core or more
GPU: Latest DirectX 11 graphics card with 2 GB Video RAM or more
RAM: 8GB or more

Example 1

CPU: Intel Core i7-3930K
GPU: Nvidia GTX 670

Example 2

CPU: AMD FX-9370 Eight-Core
GPU: AMD Radeon HD 7970

One interesting thing to note from this whole thing, is that even the minimum specs demand at least 4GB of RAM, so you better hope you're running a 64bit operating system, otherwise there's no way tour system detected 3.2GB is going to cut it.

Where abouts in this list does your rig fall? Mine... probably somewhere around recommended.
