Watch Dogs Will Be Ubisoft's Last Mature Title On Wii U

Ubisoft has decided not to release any more mature games on Wii U.

""What we see is that Nintendo customers don't buy Assassin's Creed. Last year, we sold in very small numbers," claimed CEO Yves Guillemot.

According to Guillemot, Ubisoft will continue to release family-friendly games on Wii U but Watch Dogs will be the company's last mature title to be released on that platform.

"It will be the only mature game we publish on it," he said. "What we see is that they are very interested in Just Dance, very interested by other kinds of games. So what we are trying to do is to focus more on the types of games they are interested in."

We already know that Ubisoft has a couple of finished Wii U games sitting on the shelf "waiting for more families to have the console."

nintendo *******

why dont nintendo fans like mature games ? rest of the gaming market does, guess there scared of the reality of war, that people can die and do bad things, guess that must scare them shitless. ya cant beat a good violent stealth game, or a gta game etc wonder why nintendo have done poor on sales losing 100's of millions , only to sell partially well with another mario crappy kart game and zelda 20000000 lol. all nintendo ppl love is same old games sequal after sequal with only the looks changing with the same old gameplay wish nintendo would just ******* die off and leave the gaming industry to good consoles and pc. nintendo is a ******* joke.

the people who buy nintendo

the people who buy nintendo consoles can be fit in 3 camps in my opinion: 1)people who want to play nintendo games 2)people who use it as a second console to a primary console, most of whom have a gaming PC 3)people who buy it for their kids I personally am a part of #2. If im going to play watchdogs or GTA or whatever then im going to play it on the console that will give me the best experience, ie the PC. Only dumb ***** buy these 3rd party games for playstation/xbox/nintendo. Either way, this is a smart move by ubisoft, they need to know their market and target them.
