Cheats:
Easy upgrades
This trick makes it easy to get all upgrades maxed out, but takes a very long time. Go to the first level and amass as many sheriff stars as possible. Do not talk to Wounded Bird until you get to the end, just before you fight the first Boss. Buy any upgrades you can afford, then finish the level. During the closing sequence, wait until the saving icon is gone, then pause and reset the level. You will have to watch the intermission sequence again, but you will have all the upgrades you bought, and any remaining sheriff stars will still exist. It is recommended that you purchase the sheriff star upgrades first (more from mining spots, enemy kills, and boxes broken). This could potentially take hours, but when you max out all upgrades, the game becomes much easier, especially during tougher Bosses and areas.
