Console Commands
Console CommandsPress Ctrl + Shift + C to bring up a cheat console. Then type the following codes (without the quotes) and press 'Enter' to enble the corresponding effect.

Cheat Mode
Press CTRL+SHIFT+C on PC or COMMAND+SHIFT+C on Mac to bring up the cheats console. Type testingcheats true to enable testing mode.
Skill Editing
With testingcheats true enabled, you can enter the following code from the console to set the desired level on a given skill:
stats.set_skill_level [skilltype] [1-10]
As an example, you might enter stats.set_skill_level Major_Fishing 7 to set your skill level on Major Fishing to 7. The list of available skill types is as follows:

Interaction Cheats:
While in the cheats console, pressing SHIFT+] can also increase the size of objects. If you enable additional cheats using the testinghcheats true code and then type in cas.fulleditmode, you will enable all CAS abilities. Then you can press and hold SHIFT while clicking on the objects listed below to produce a menu that lets you select the corresponding effect.
Sim - Allows Sim to be modified, except name and inherited traits (Modify in CAS)
Sim - Reset a Sim (Reset Object)
Sim - Add the Sim to the current family (Add to Family)
Sim - All motives are full and mood is Happy (Cheat Motive > Make Happy)
Sim - Motives change dynamically (Cheat Motive > Enable Motive Decay)
Sim - Motives remain static (Cheat MOtive > Disable Motive Decay)
Object - Resets object
Dirty-able Object - Makes object dirty
Dirty Object - Makes object clean
Mailbox - Resets mailbox
Ground - Teleports your Sim to that vicinity
Buffs
After activating the testingcheats true code, the following commands can be used at the console window.

Hidden lots
Sylvan Glades in Willow Creek neighborhood: Visit the Crick Cabana lot in the Willow Creek neighborhood. Search the public space next to the house to find a tree labeled "Sylvan Tree" that appears differently than the others. It is a big tree with flowers growing from its sides. Click the tree and select the "View" option repeatedly until a door appears. Select the Tree Adventure, and choose the following options in order: "Follow the Sound", "Follow Downstream", and "Enter the Mist". The Sylvan Glades lot is now accessible. It contains the following collectibles: Minerals, Basil, Fish, Frogs, Lily, Snapdragon, Bluebell, Strawberry, Mushroom, Pear Tree, and Cherry Tree.
Forgotten Grotto in Oasis Springs neighborhood: This requires a Sim with level 10 Hardiness. Visit the Desert Bloom Park lot in the Oasis Springs neighborhood. Move far behind the lot and find the public space that has a bathroom stall. From here, follow the canyon to the left to find a boarded up entrance to a cave. Interact with the Mine Cave to break down the wooden boards and enter. Complete the Adventure Cave by choosing the following options in order: "Take the Wide Path", "Climb the Ladder", and "Step onto the Ledge". The Forgotten Grotto is now accessible. It contains the following collectibles: Onions, Sage, Lily, Mushroom, Mineral, Fish, Frog, and Potato.
Growing Cow Plants
Go to the Desert Bloom lot in the Oasis Springs neighborhood and go to the canyon that leads to the Mine Cave. Along the rock walls of the canyon is a small pond that feeds a shallow stream. Fish at the pond until you get Cow Plant seed. Return to your home lot, open your inventory, and drag the seed to where you want to plant it. Once planted, water it daily until it grows to full size. If the dirt at the base of plant turns light brown, it needs to be watered. Once fully grown, you must feed the Cow Plant meat to keep it alive
Voodoo Doll
When fishing you may find rare items, including the Voodoo Doll. Try using the ponds in Sylvan Glades and Forgotton Grotto to increase the chances. The Voodoo Doll requires Skill Level 3 in Mischief to use, and improving that skill will give you better results. To raise your Mischief skill, walk around and choose the "Mischief" bubble when interacting with other Sims. When you are able to, use the "Troll internet forums" action on the computer as well.
