Gamers Complain The Order: 1886 Is Too Short For Its Price

The Order: 1886 is yet to be released on February 20th, but some gamers have already bought, played and finished it.

Normally, this wouldn't be a big deal but a large number of players who tried the game are complaining that it is too short. Apparently, the game takes only 6 to 10 hours to complete and it has no multiplayer component to extend its life.

Of course there is no clear cut "standard" or "suitable" game length, but there is a general consensus that full priced games warrant around 20 to 40 hours of gameplay. Heck, games such as Fallout 3 and Skyrim or even The Binding Of Isaac can soak up hundreds of hours of gameplay.

When asked, Ready at Dawn founder, CEO and creative director Ru Weerasuriya refused to specify the average time it would take to complete The Order. When pressed for clarification he argued that ""Gameplay length for me is so relative to quality. It's just like a movie. Just because a movie is three hours long, it doesn't make it better."

The Order: 1886 will be officially released on February 20th. It is a PlayStation 4 exclusive and its retail price is $60.
