Giants is the first game to ever pitch the forces of all popular genres in the most frenzied and diverse multiplayer battle ever staged.

Three Groups of Characters Representing:
Magic!
Technology!!
Sheer Brute Savagery!!!
All meet for battle to determine ownership of the most prime real estate in the galaxy: the exotic island hidden in the heart of the giant nebula, Dorlon.

Battle ensues on a massive fragment of shattered planet consisting of 40 separate islands. From the outside, this fragment appears as a radiantly colored waterfall but inside this beautiful waterfall lies chaos. Gamers can select from three very original creatures, the Sea Reapers, the Meccaryn and the giant, Kabuto. All are fighting for control of the beautiful world. During confrontation, each character's strengths and weaknesses will come to the forefront. Kabuto can crush victims with his bare hands, Meccaryns have space travel and weapons to their advantage and the Sea Reapers can travel the seas and control devastating elemental powers. The action continues as gamers manipulate the landscape to create obstacles and destroy the enemy.

Before there was Man; before there was Earth; before there was PlanetMoon; there was the Island: a massive fragment of shattered planet hurtling through space.
One would immediately think, asteroid, at such a description, but this is by no means a dead piece of rock.
Even from a distance its radiant colors and surrounding waterfalls distinguish it as an anomaly amidst the dark void of space. Around it, decayed and splintered asteroids linger, like wailful ghosts, jealous of a true beauty they will never have.

On this Eden wanders the solitary giant, Kabuto. As far back as he can remember this has been his home. From whence he came he does not know, apart from one obscure clue in the form of the serial number, "001," imprinted on his stomach.
He sits alone and longs for company, but the only thing that has descended from the skies, or landed upon the shores is death and destruction. He now trusts no one, and guards the only thing that has been constant for him -- the island, his home. And woe betide anyone who now sets foot on it!

In the surrounding seas there are a band of survivors called the Sea Reapers. These women once ruled the island until they were forced to flee by their own creation: Kabuto. He had been created as a protector against an alien threat, which had suddenly come upon them. At first Kabuto obeyed, but as time went by he became conscious of his pain, his loneliness, himself. He turned on the Sea Reapers and decimated half their numbers, forcing the remainder back to their watery origins.

They now live on huge ships just off the shores, safe from Kabuto, whose enormous mass would sink faster than a lead weight tied to a crazed elephant that has just eaten a forklift truck which happened to be carrying bricks at the time. I think you get my point!
They long to return home, and with the arrival of the Meccaryns they see an opportunity arising. The threat that they had created Kabuto for may now be their only chance at correcting this giant blunder. With another foe for Kabuto to contend with, maybe they can slip by unnoticed and attack when both enemies are at their weakest.
The Sea Reapers harness the wind and are able to circle the island far quicker than Kabuto or the Meccaryns can traverse it. But they are most notorious for their keen senses and speed. Tracking your smell, they can hunt you down in seconds, and rip you to shreds if you are not well protected.

Badly damaged from their latest battle in space, the Meccaryn spaceship limps toward the closest landmass capable of supporting life, the Island.
From orbit they scan for any possible threat. There is none, for on this chunk of large but beautiful rock there exists only the most primitive of life forms. Perfect! Time for repairs. Taking to their landing crafts they begin their descent into a world that holds their only chance of survival and, unbeknownst to them, a place where they will face Hell itself. But don't let their slight frame fool you.
Once encased in their large body armor they are ready for anything or, at least, feel they are.

They love a fight, and over time have learnt how to best protect themselves when going up against the ethereal sea-women, or that rather large giant who dominates the Island.
They must travel in numbers and watch their backs. This teamwork has been the key to their survival, allowing them to hunt for their much-needed fuel and resources.
And so begins the battle of the islands.
