Intel fights back by cutting prices

Intel, in an attempt to react to their many recent blunders are releasing a new price list for their CPU's, effective from October 29th. The new Celeron 733 and 766 processors will also be launched the same day.
Pentium 4's which will be available on November 20th are expected to cost $644 for the 1.4 GHz and $819 for the 1.5GHz.
In this way Intel is slowly beginning to approach the prices which AMD has for its range of the faster Athlons.
