Assassin's Creed 4 fans were disappointed to discover that it doesn't include Alliance multiplayer mode. Lead multiplayer designer Tim Browne wanted to include that mode, but it was not possible for technical reasons.
"The reason Alliance can't come back is that it uses 3 teams of 2 players," he explained during a recent Twitter Q&A session. "None of the game systems support 3 teams any longer."
Browne didn't give any details regarding the technical reasons behind that limitation.
