i have the beta version, and i dont think this game will have better phisics than painkiller.the graphics r the best i ever seen though

xbox version will probably be alright. But the PC version will by far dominate it!

This is the xbox demo it's most likely what you'll get on the console. It almost looks like it was on a Pc yes that's fairly awesome achivement from the troops at ID.*Snow*Hate to break it to you but you'llneed a DX9 card.

9600 is a dx9 card, just not as fast as 97/800 or the new radeons. But still destroys the nvidia 5xxx Fx familly in quality and Dx9 perfomance. Nice graphics on trailer, bit worried about the gameplay tho, just saw STALKER review on tomshardware.com and that game looks like it will be a lot more interesting in terms of gaming experience. Probably better than FarCry, D3 or HL2. Cant wait.

The xbox version doesn't look anywhere near as good as the PC version. I saw a comparison pic not long ago and the PC version had a higher poly count and better textures.But as for physics, the leak dont mean crap! That was how old now?More I see of Doom3, the better it looks, and its the opposite of HL2 (yes I am a doom3 fanboy so kiss my **** :D)

You don't have to have a DX9 card. You can use a GeForce 3 and 4 for this game but that's as low as you can have. You'll only need DX9 card if you want some of the cooler features and effects like pixel shaders.

gfx didn't looks all that good in this demo. beta2 looked way better on my computer than this render.

f**k all! :-DASSHOLES... this game is coded in OpenGL!!!!! WTF do you need a DX9 card to run most of it's features? DUMBASES you think you know anithing about games but you dunno ****!Asides from that asswipes, A GF3 and a P4 ~2.2 was stated as the RECOMMENDED specs... the game can be run on a GF1 and a P3 GHz if you disable Per-pixel shading and Bump-mapping...Now go f**k yourselves...

I have Played the leak version of D3 and it ran perfectly Beautifully and very scarry on my GF4 TI and I believ that D3 will be ontop for Graphics and alround physics for a very long time.I haven't seen much of HL2 but I think the big Hype about it is due to the succes of the previous HL, but what I have seen of it it doesn't look half bad but the problem is it looks too much like the old game (Now where is the achievement in making a game that looks more or less similar to the first?).

Hey, these screen shoots look terrible! All dark and I can't even see the monsters. The last one looks like a retro to Quake 2!I honestly don't like all the "dark and shadows" theme of the game. I think the id is reaching its leadership in the game engine wars.Just look at half life and Unreal 3...aaahhh...there you have something different!

Yeah! This is nice, i have the beta on this and on HL2. Its difficult to say which of the two games that is best, but i'm sure that i will need a new coputer when the games' hits the shops!!

BTW, yeah, Unreal Engine 3... blah blah blah... amazing graphics... too bad that they need to run their engine on a GFX 6800 Ultra in order to get _decent_ framerates...ASIDES from that, the screens you see are from the XBOX version of D3, the quality is obviously inferior...
