ive been playin this game forever, wonderful mod, lots of thought and work put into it, the half-life scene is starting to fade hopefully the DoD will benifit from all the work they did.

This game blows CS out of the water there is so much more skill/strategy/team work involved. I cant wait till DoD takes the throne over that old played out CS crap.

old game now and the only map worth playing was caen 2. The rest were too dark (couldn't see anyone or anything).Go with battlefield 1942, its the nearest there is to virtual reality at the moment.

why doesnt anyone make DoD or CS for UT2003 or something simmilar?

It can be good looking if your run it at a high resolution and have some kind of Anti-Alaising on.This game is far more realistic and more gritty then BF will ever be.

DoD is old. Too old!. The fact is, it's so easy to cheat in DoD.If I play DoD, I use my undetected cheats, wallhack, aimbot, no reload hack. Anyways, Half-Life and its mods are done, people are slowly moving away from the Half-Life scene and are moving on to bigger and better games. Theres also alot of WW2 games and mods out now.If you want WW2 games,-Medal of Honor: Allied Assault and its expansion pack Medal of Honor: Spearhead-Return to Castle Wolfenstein (MP is awsome in this game)-Battlefield 1942 and its expansion pack Road to Romeand theres so many others.Hey people, its time to move on!.Leave this crap game and leave the other crap half-life mods too!.

DOD kicks ***,and only homos cheat at online games!Bf is awesome,but dod is better for infantry fights,BF is better at vehicle and air combat..

the halflife engine is really easy to base a mod on, but that ability gives hackers teh same easiness to cheat, cheaters wreck games, do the world a favour and kill ur lonely selves, ur never gonna get any love

LOL, how are cheaters gay?, hey, you should try playing DoD with cheats, it makes it 100x more fun and also, play CS with cheats, all you get is HS HS HS, its sweet and funny while all the people are saying hacker, cheater etc etc its very funny. wookie, its not the fact it has crap *** graphics, theres games like DoD which are newer and a better.

If you play some of the maps you will relise that the graphics arnt that bad, I mean the people look like people and you can see what weapons the enemy has with a quick glance. The maps are also nicely done and are very easy to make, well easier than most games out today. People with lower end PC's can also have a fun time with this, unlike BF1942 where it can take 3+minutes to load up a map. I dont think this game should be compared to BF1942 considering the people who made this were not paid anything at all. The engine, yet old is very easy to make mods like this. I also rekkon that DOD is more realistic than BF with a better damaging system. Oh and I used to cheat in CS a long time ago, speed hacks were kinda fun but that was it, I got banned from too many servers. Overall I think selling DOD is a freekin crap idea, who is going to buy it??? Like no one, considering you can just download it for free (provided you have HL) I mean, are you going to pay money for somthing when every one else is getting it for free?? Of course not. Later.

good fro them there going to get paid for something they worked hard on ...i know you guys are smart enought not to buy it ccause you know you can get it for free but there are soem people out there liek small rich children that can aford it and will buy it ...and the dfod team can make some provit from it. and its a sin to compare this to bf...bf is crap they only good thing about it is that there maps are uge and they have interrative object on the map .. a side from that the game sucks .and who ever programed that game and other games for ea sucks ..it uses sooo many resurses..its freaking bugy its like fuuck hire some other guy to help out the programing...

Probably the best First person shooter of all time. No, just kidding but what a killer game. I mean this game is one of the best free on-line action fps I've seen in a long time. I love it and like it better than CS because of the quick respawn. (and easier to use and more fun and more fun and did I mention MORE FUN)
