It has absolutely NOTHING to do with that arcade games. It does have a gag in which an Area 51 arcade machine makes an apperance. Awesome game....been playin it on XBOX for a couple weeks now.

Not really. Just the viral outbreak and name. it is made by the same people that made the 1sr Area 51 game. Unfortunately on here while it runs smooth, most of the models are really fragmented. Is annoying. Looks all funky.

hm i enjoyed the aciton and i like its premise but the game is not all that great. Enemies are hard to spot even by sound and when you get double handed weapons its lke im in permanent zoom.i would give it 6/10 for the kick *** action everything else is mediocre...feels way too much like a console game

The mouse movement is laggy. Enemies are hard to spot. Aiming sucks, period.Enemies seem to spawn and attack out of nowhere. 5/10Good on the consoles, crap on the pc

Am gonna pass this one if it's a crappy console port. I am actually amazed how Escape from Butcher bay was such a good port.And to Anonymous at 13:8, the fact that you bothered to make a whole post to trash that guy is even more pathetic. The PS2 demo was actually better but I think I will get the PC version because it has much better graphics.This demo was okay but it was way too short and I wish they could make longer demos.Other than that it seems like a really cool game and anyone who doesnt like it is part of the conspiracy!

The only redeeming part of this game is one of the areas being a studio where they staged the moon landing, going along with the whole David Duchovny consipirsy thing.The gameplay is terrible; no mouse smoothing and zoomed view( im gonna call this the Pariah syndrome :P) The graphics are bad as well; polygon tastic, guess we've all been spoiled by normal mapping. And textures that look like smeared **** even with the "detailed textures" option ticked.The demo's size is victim of a huge cinematic, the game content is a 1 level craptacular console port, waste of voice talent by David and Marilyn.Stay away, veeeery bad.

well i dosent like when they convert games from console to pc its not fair for the pc to prove that they are bether on graps (but i like the GTA serie) but it has an potential story and good voice act :) should be an good convert to an movie :D
