No you don't need a patch to get EE for free. You NEED the original CQB then download EE for free (legally). Or you can buy EE retail version. Which is the same =)

The Swat3:CQB was good...the EE is even better...but there is no f**kin crack on this site from the release of EE, I have it but i can't play THIS SUCKS ***!!!
