Call of Duty will be set on the battlefields of the 20th century's most monumental conflicts, thrusting players into gripping cinematic, authentic warfare. through the eyes of the common soldier. The first game in the Call of Duty series will be a gritty World War 2 game for the PC that will see players take on the roles of 3 totally different soldiers in 3 totally different campaigns. Players will experience the war from the perspective of a U.S. paratrooper, a British commando and a Russian infantryman who will each have varying roles and duties. There's a no 'one man against the war' approach in this game, players will fight along side fellow soldiers in epic battle sequences and experience just what war was like for an unsung hero in World War 2. Missions include battlefield assaults, search and rescue missions, stealth missions, sabotage missions, vehicle chases and tank battles.
