You've seen her in the movie "Dodgeball" on the hilarious television show, "Reno 911," or perhaps in the pages of FHM or Femme Fatale. Yes, Pump It Up Girl Lauren Kim really gets around. And here she is, showing what a trained acrobat can do on a dance game like Pump It Up: Exceed - which shipped for the PlayStation 2 and Xbox last week.

Pump It Up: Exceed is unique to other dance games in the market in that it uses a special five-button dance pad that actually rewards players for cool dance moves instead of just stomping in the right place. If you do watch the video however, let us know if you think Ms Kim is following the directions dished out by the game.

While other dance games have only four dance pads and arbitrarily assign positions to a dancer's feet, Pump It Up features choreographed steps for each song and a five button mat that lets the step designers reward players for not just where they put their feet, but how the feet got there. In addition, Pump It Up also features a freestyle setting that forces you to hit three or more pads simultaneously, which can only be accomplished by using more than just your feet. You can enjoy Ms Kim demonstrating the many virtues of that particular feature in the movie which you can get by following the download tab above.
Is it just us or are dance-pad games becoming a popular drinking-game? I guess it's just us then...
