AMD launched the AMD Radeon R9 290X graphics card.

AMD Radeon R9 290X supports Mantle and AMD TrueAudio which allows the card to deliver a richer and deeply immersive soundscape, including true to life echoes, convolution reverbs and incredibly realistic sounding environments using a dedicated audio processor.
According to benchmarks performed by hardware review sites, the R9 290X performance is comparable to that of NVidia's TITAN. In fact, the R9 290X was able to outperform TITAN by a narrow margin in nearly half of the benchmarks. NVidia TITAN retails for $999, nearly twice as much Radeon R9 290X.
