Assassin's Creed III will take place in America and will feature a new protagonist other than Desmond Miles.
The game will take place during the American revolutionary war where the yet-unnamed protagonist pals with George Washington, Paul Revere, Ben Franklin and other leading American revolutionaries.
There is no more info available yet, but the Xbox 360 box art features the new protagonist wielding a tomahawk while nailing down a British Redcoat soldier.
A senior team of Ubisoft developers has been working on Assassin's Creed III for 3 years now. The team has taken advantage of that time to "rethink every element of the franchise."
