In line with our earlier prediction, Austrian games company ThriXXX has released a YouTube video showing a working demo of an adult game controlled through Kinect.
Unsurprisingly, Microsoft was quick to issue an official statement distancing itself from the porn game and shooting down any hope for an Xbox 360 version of the game.
"This isn't the first example of a technology being used in ways not intended by its manufacturer, and it won't be the last," the statement reads. "Microsoft did not authorize or license its technology for this use."
"Xbox is a family friendly games and entertainment console and does not allow Adults Only (AO) content to be certified for use on its platform, and would not condone this type of game for Kinect."
It is worth noting that the game was developed LibFreeNect, the hacked hacked open source driver for Windows 7 and it is reasonable to expect that ThriXXX never planned to release the game on Xbox 360.
