Here's what you need to run the Black Ops 4 Beta

Is your PC ready for Black Ops 4? Now that we have the system requirements for both minimum and recommended systems to hand, we can double check. Most PC gamers should be able to run it at its lowest easily enough, but you'll need a reasonably hefty system to get it to run it maxed out, as even the recommended specs are starting to step outside of the budget gaming zone.

Before we dive into the system requirements, Treyarch has stated that these specifications are for the beta only and aren't necessarily indicative of what will be necessary for the final game when it launches. However, we feel confident in saying that the end result will be close to these requirements, as the beta is hardly the time to be making massive changes to the way the game is rendered. Some minor improvements might improve minimum frame rates on older hardware, but don't hold your breath for any major drops in system requirements.

With that out of the way, here's what you'll need to run the beta:

Minimum requirements

  • CPU: i5 2500K or better
  • GPU: GTX 660 2GB, Radeon HD 7850 or better
  • RAM: 8GB
  • Storage: 25GB of space

Recommended requirements

  • CPU: i7 5770k or better.
  • GPU: GTX 970 or 1060 6GB, R9 390 or RX 580 or better.
  • RAM: 12GB
  • Storage: 25GB

How does your system measure up?
