Microsoft is effectively lowering Xbox One price to coincide with Titanfall release.
Starting March 11th, North American consumers will be able to purchase Xbox One bundled with Titanfall for the price of the console alone, $499.99. Unfortunately, this deal is "for a limited time" only.
Microsoft is also lowering the console's official retail price in UK starting February 28th. Starting that date, the console will retail for £399.99 ($666), down from the current price of £429.99 ($716). A Titanfall will also be available for the same reduced price for a limited time when the game launches there.
Xbox One price is higher than PlayStation 4's by $100. Most analysts believe that this price difference is the main reason behind Xbox One's disappointing market performance.
