They should have kept the armor used in Doom3, it looked much cooler and way more futuristic.

by the look of the preview which was out a while ago which i saw a while ago if its the same one that is phew ... it looks so bad and if they say ID had a say in it like i read somewhere god help us on there next game .cause this looks like poo sorry guys i might be wrong but the preview is a real snoozer.

Well hell ..no offense but if the Rock has the lead part, then of course its a low budget movie and of course it WILL suck big time!

Guys, thankfully the Rock does NOT have the lead part!So it's certainly not a low budget movie. He plays the sergent. He can't carry a lead role, just take a look at some of his last films. Hopefully the Pinky Deamon is the only one that is CGI. I've heard from interviws that most of the monsters are not CGI. Just like Doom 3 this movie will scare the living crap outta ya!

I liked the rock in a few of his movies... I don't think he is that bad of an actor.. kind of a bad ***.never the less, this doesn't look like it will disgrace doom as much as resident evil movies disgraced resident evil (at least these guys are working with id software and listening to the fans to make the movie).

well the trailer is in absolutely amazing quality video!I'd prefer if the movie copied the game almost exactly, that would make me happy and more inclined to watch it. As it is, i'll probably watch it at the cinema if i like the..."backup" copy i aquire.

This Trailer or so called, 'Teaser' made me cry.First, Doom 3 is futuristic, this looks like it's based on a warehouse or my highschool. >_>Also, Doom 3 is dark and gloomy with blood marks all over the walls and wtf is with the S.W.A.T. uniforms?! They should have gotten the actual gun models from the game and the real monsters that are from the game. This will turn out gay.This seems like the typical hero show-off movie like a team of guys going in to kick ***.This is going to be a bad mark on the Doom Series, jeez holy crap. They could have at least tried to do SOME resemblance to the actual game. Also, they 'l33t' Marines wore helmets...This is a suck-*** budged movie. f**k... I was at first saying, "Oh, neato." And now, once I saw this trailer. It's a piece of s**t.

I have my theory: If the chick who we can see in trailer will die in this scene, than we'll have a good movie ;PSeriously: We saw a small part of the movie, there were no CG scenes in trailer so either they suck hard or... they kick *** and are left for us to admire them in cinema.About main character, I think it should be marine played by Carl Urban and I cant say if it is better or worse than 'Rock' :/And if you want something scarry go and play Silent Hill, cause nieither classic Doom nor Doom 3 weren't scarry at all.Just think positively ;D

i'm quite sure that this movie's not that good... but then i'm still gonna see it to safe of that fact. to judge something from it's trailer isn't always the best thing to do you know... and at last i think that those who hope for a big time horror movie should not serch for it here, serch in the old movie case and your gonna find those **** good classics that still burns these new movies from the inside out =)

oh and anther thing if this movie starts off with some dumb *** sroping a glass vile in to a vent that leas to the hole bass im walking out cuse that retartded you would think the beakers they use in the labs would be plastic or somthing and why have vents sheesh!

Well we all know this is a B moive and not even a watchable one at that this has always been my reaction to DOOM moive....*GAGS DIES lays there twitching*And if you dont know they removed HELL and demons from the moive becuse they didnt want to offend anyone. and its not on mars and thus has even less to do with doom.They didnt even bother to amke this game be DOOM they just took soem of DOOMs conseptions and then screwed them over into mindless drek.I have some hope for the HALO moive sicne M$ put hollywood on a short leash but M$

WTF is with all this crap about low budget movies being bad? Seriously lots of good movies were low budget.ResivoirDogs and The Evil Deads just to name a couple. And the whole thing about no CGI stuff. I kinda think thats a good thing. What was the last good movie that you've seen with tons of CGI special effects? it is set on mars (as they confirmed later on coz fans were disappointed) and they have a lot of the real models for the weapons from the game.the bfg sounds pretty threatening just like the one in the game. the creatures are all done by STAN WINSTON.pinky is most prob the only cgi. The monsters ook pretty darn good. They even got that bathroom scene from Doom 3.thank you

after the blood rayne movie, DOOM movie and yes i hate to say it, HALO movie... Mortal Kombat will still be the best video game movie I have ever seen sad.
