Dont start talking about ripp offs.. that is everygame these days(almost).. I hope it will be good and they improve the GFX a bit.. ALtho blizzard will make a good game for sure..But you never know with them :O

if u are going to rate the graphics i sure hope u have seen the videos of it in action.. screen shots never do games justice.. and on that note..this game has a nice stylized look in taking after the original/s, so QQ more you "oh but it must look realistic", this is what among many other things will set it apart from the rest.

I am very shock with the poor graphics, the cinematic trailer is amazing as always but the graphics in game is like 5 years old..........what a disapointment

good old sc is back, graphics are the best because they kept the good old feel and haven't changed it. Good job Blizzard. I was wondering how they would do it in a better graphics style, I woulda been heppy with the 2D startcraft 2 haha, SC owns all! and Counter-Strike too

Graphics are fairly impressive, actually, for an RTS. mapping looks good, character designs are OK. I wanna see how it plays, though, before passing judgement. I like the nod to Omikron (NUKE Cola, NUKA Cola).

Agreed, looks like Bliz is almost using the same WC3 graphics engine... I was hoping for something much less cartoonish.

With Blizzard's reputation and there success i doubt that this game is going down. Graphically it looks alright but way more impressive then WC3. If u read the faq's it stated they might add in some DX10 effects which should appeal more to an audience like me.. i thrive on gameplay n graphics and thats what blizzard is going to deliver.PERIOD.

SCFanboi, give up on Diablo 3. Blizzard North closed down nearly TWO YEARS AGO. Some of the staff jumped ship with Bill Roper to form Flagship Studios, who are working on Hellgate: London. You want Diablo 3? Hellgate is the closest you're going to get. So just stfu about Diablo 3 already.

I'd also like to chime in on the matter of Starcraft 2's looks. Enough already. I still have screenshots of Starcraft when it was first unveiled....back when they were using the Warcraft 2 engine. Everyone pointed and laughed, saying "oh, that's just orcs in space!" (which is not-so-subtly referred to by Artanis in Brood War). The fact is, nobody outside of Blizzard knows just how far along they are in this project. Things could very well change by the time SC2 is ready for release. It's barely been a couple of days since the announcement and everyone is rushing to judgement. Here's an idea - WAIT AND SEE.
