When you call down a Hellbomb in Helldivers 2, you expect a screen-shaking, bug-vaporizing spectacle. The Truly Nuclear Hellbombs mod takes that expectation and dials it up to eleven. By replacing the default detonation effect with the colossal nuclear meltdown explosion from the Cyberstan Cyborg production facilities, it lets you drop an absolutely massive blast on your targets. Consequently, clearing out side objectives feels significantly more rewarding, and your squad gets an unforgettable, blinding light show to dive away from.

Compatibility & Notes

Because the game only designed this explosion for flat ground, detonating pre-spawned broken Hellbombs that are tilted (especially on ice planets) will cause the mushroom cloud to spawn at a diagonal angle.
If the tilted cloud bothers you, the mod author recommends using the included “no mushroom cloud” variant.
Requires the standard Helldivers 2 modding tools, most commonly the HD2 Mod Manager, to install properly.

Wie installieren?

Download and install the HD2 Mod Manager if you have not already set up your game for modding.
Download the Truly Nuclear Hellbombs mod archive, choosing either the standard or “no mushroom cloud” version.
Extract the downloaded archive to a temporary folder on your computer.
Open the HD2 Mod Manager and add the extracted mod files into your load order.
Deploy your mods through the manager and launch the game to test your newly upgraded explosives.
