Silent Hill: Townfall layers on film grain, chromatic aberration, depth of field, and lens distortion, and that heavy filter stack isn’t for everyone. No Post-Processing strips all of it out with a single Engine.ini swap, no loader or extra tools required. Vignette and bloom stay on by default, but you can disable those too by editing two lines in the file yourself. Consequently, you get a cleaner, sharper picture with as much or as little of the original visual style as you want.

Wie man anfängt

First, download the mod and open the archive.
Then copy the Engine.ini file.
Next, paste it into the Windows folder inside your game’s local app data directory, at %LOCALAPPDATA%\Townfall\Saved\Config\Windows. Press Win+R and paste that path to jump straight there.
Set the pasted Engine.ini to Read-only, so the game can’t overwrite your changes on launch.

Gut zu wissen

Vignette and bloom stay on by default. To remove them too, open Engine.ini and delete the leading semicolon from r.BloomQuality=0 and r.Tonemapper.Quality=0.
Removing vignette through r.Tonemapper.Quality=0 can shift the overall look of the game, not just the vignette itself.
Set Engine.ini back to Read-only after making any edits, or the game will overwrite your changes.
