Blade & Sorcery Realistic Deaths Mod v1.3

                    
A cut throat, a stabbed lung, and a lost leg should not all end the same way. The Realistic Deaths mod gives every wound its own ending, drawing on 70+ medical and forensic sources. Nothing needs equipping, since it all plays out on its own when you hurt or kill an enemy. As a result, each kill plays out the way that wound really would.
How Enemies Fall Now

Realistic Deaths: Packs the mod into a 452KB archive with a RealisticDeaths carpeta.

Death Throes

Cut Throats: Makes enemies grab their necks and choke on blood, so they never scream.
Lung and Heart: Lung stabs bring fading gurgles, and heart stabs end within seconds.
Head Wounds: Knocks most victims out cold, then usually triggers a fit and slow snoring breaths.
Lightning, Fire, Strangling: Lightning locks enemies rigid, fire makes them scream, and strangling makes them claw at their throats.
Heads Off: Drops the body limp, with blood pumping from the neck and the jaw twitching.
Custom Choking Sounds: Adds wet gurgling sounds that the base game lacks, so throat and lung deaths sound distinct.
Final Seconds: Ends every death with a few jerks, a last breath, and slowly closing eyes.
Crawling: Lets dying enemies drag themselves away on their stomach or back. Some then go for a dropped weapon.

Wounds That Do Not Kill

Vital Hits Kill: A blade to the brain, heart, or back of the neck kills instantly.
Lost Limbs: Lets enemies survive a lost hand, arm, lower leg, or foot, then crawl away bleeding.
Crippled for Good: Wrecking both legs or stabbing the lower spine from behind keeps enemies down for good.
Bleeding Enemies: Makes wounded enemies go pale, breathe hard, slow down, and finally collapse as the blood runs out.
Limps and Ruined Arms: A badly hurt leg causes a limp, and a ruined sword arm drops the weapon.
Broken Bones: A hard blunt blow can break an arm, leg, jaw, or ribs with a loud crack. Heavy weapons swung hard break bones. In contrast, a light tap rarely does.
Nosebleeds: A hard hit to the nose starts a nosebleed that drips down the face.
Knockouts: A hard head blow can knock an enemy out for 6 to 14 seconds, then they wake slowly.

Behavior and Settings

Will to Fight: Badly hurt enemies can back off, give up, cower, or run, depending on your preset.
Sure Footing: Healthy enemies stagger instead of falling, but hurt legs and heavy hits still floor them.
Playing Possum: Some downed enemies play dead as you approach, then crawl again once you look away.
Mod Friendly: Works with Gore by Gibby, so both mods can run together. Dying enemies freeze and resume with the Time Stop mod.
Settings Book: Puts every option in the in-game book, so you can switch any of it off.

Why Swap Your Deaths?
Deaths stop looking copy-pasted, so every fight ends with its own small scene. The trade-off is time, since a full death takes 6 to 11 seconds by default. Pick the Fun preset if you want faster kills.
Getting It In

Descarga el mod y descomprime el archivo en tu ordenador.
In Steam, right-click Blade & Sorcery, choose Manage, and open Browse local files.
A continuación, abra BladeAndSorcery_Data\StreamingAssets\Mods.
If you are updating, delete the old RealisticDeaths folder first. Your settings stay.
Extract the archive there, so you end up with Mods\RealisticDeaths\manifest.json.
Then start the game and load a character.
Finally, open the in-game book, go to the Mods tab, and pick the Realistic Deaths entry to adjust settings. Changes apply straight away.
To uninstall, delete the RealisticDeaths de la carpeta BladeAndSorcery_Data\StreamingAssets\Mods.

Fine Print and Tips

The mod runs on PC and Nomad, and the steps above cover the PC install.
Presets run from quick 3 to 6 second deaths on Fun to 15 to 40 second deaths on Brutal.
Switching Floor Blood off boosts frame rate on PC, so try it if you see slowdowns.
Instead of living with a feature you dislike, turn it off in the book, such as crawling or knockouts.
