Dying or getting knocked out in How to Fish scatters your items across the map, sometimes launching a sniper rifle into the middle of the ocean. Keep Inventory stops that entirely, putting your held item back into your inventory instead of dropping or launching it. It runs as a lightweight BepInEx plugin with no configuration needed. As a result, you stop losing gear to death and respawns, and stop digging through loot piles to find what’s yours.

No More Item Launching: Puts your currently held item back in your inventory instead of dropping or flinging it away.
Full Inventory Kept on Respawn: Stops your entire inventory from dropping when you respawn.
Safe Overflow Handling: Drops your held item at your feet instead of launching it if your inventory happens to be full.

Losing gear to a random death or knockout wastes time better spent fishing. Additionally, sorting your items out of a shared loot pile with friends slows everyone down. This mod removes both problems at once. Therefore, your gear stays exactly where it belongs, even after a rough encounter.
Cómo empezar

Instale BepInEx in your game’s root folder first if you haven’t already.
Descarga el mod y descomprime el archivo en tu ordenador.
Drag and drop KeepInventory.dll into steamapps/common/How to Fish/How to Fish/BepInEx/plugins.
Launch the game and confirm your items stay put after a death or knockout.
To uninstall, remove KeepInventory.dll from your BepInEx plugins folder.

Información útil
This mod works fully in multiplayer as long as you’re the host. However, it’s recommended that every player in the session install it too, since players without it can still cause phantom item issues for others.
