Red Dead Redemption 2’s free roam can feel sparse between story missions, with long stretches of riding interrupted only by the game’s fixed scripted encounters. The Random Events Mod adds five spontaneous ambient encounters that fire on their own as you explore: predator attacks, runaway wagons, public hangings, drunken brawls, and bounty hunter pursuits. Furthermore, each event announces itself with a subtle on-screen line and a minimap blip so you can choose to ride over and get involved or simply keep moving. Consequently, the world feels more alive and unpredictable without forcing any encounter on you.
Qué incluye

Predator Attack — A wild animal ambushes you out in the wilds.
Runaway Wagon — A driverless team of horses bolts down the road hauling a wagon. Chase it down if you can.
Public Hanging — Outlaws drag a captive to a tree. Shoot the rope to cut him loose or gun down the executioners.
Drunken Folk — Rowdy drunks stagger around and brawl near settlements at nighttime.
Bounty Hunters — Armed hunters and scent hounds track you down and attack.
In-game menu to toggle all events, adjust spawn frequency, and configure minimap blips.

This mod is useful if you want free roam to feel more dynamic and less predictable between missions. Each encounter is optional to engage with, so the mod adds atmosphere without ever forcing a scripted interruption. Additionally, the in-game menu gives full control over which events fire and how often, so you can tune the experience to match your preferred pacing.
Cómo empezar

Download the mod archive and extract it to your PC.
Instale ScriptHookRDR2 V2 if you have not already.
Copia RandomEvents.asi into your main Red Dead Redemption 2 game folder, the same folder that contains RDR2.exe y ScriptHookRDR2.dll.
Launch the game and load into Story Mode.
Pulse F12 (teclado) o RB + X (controller) to open the mod menu.
Toggle events on or off and adjust spawn frequency and range to your preference.
To uninstall, delete RandomEvents.asi from your game folder.

A debug logging toggle is available in the menu for troubleshooting. It is off by default.
