A faithful restoration of the cult-classic 2002 third-person survival horror shooter game inspired by Universal Pictures’ genre-defining 1982 film, The Thing. You play as Captain J.F. Blake, leader of a U.S. Special Forces rescue team sent to investigate the blood-curdling events and enigmatic deaths of the American scientific team at Outpost 31 in Antarctica. The game features squad-based mechanics, where you must manage the trust and fear of your team members to survive against the shape-shifting alien life-form.
