All nine field bosses in DragonSword: Awakening share the same daily reset cycle, staying dead until the next scheduled reset. Respawn Overhaul replaces that entirely with a kill timer, so bosses reappear on a set cooldown instead of waiting for a fixed daily reset. Three file versions are available, covering different combinations of instant boss respawns, timed boss respawns, and full coverage of missions and wildlife. As a result, you can pick exactly how aggressive you want repeat farming to be.

DragonSwordAwakening_ZZZRespawnAnimal1Boss1Named1P_v1.0: The current full version. Replaces the daily reset for all nine field bosses with a kill timer, extends the same system to Sudden Missions, and shortens the wildlife death countdown across 1,376 animal spawn points.
DragonSwordAwakening_ZZZBossRespawn60sP_v1.0: An older, boss-only version. Sets a 60-second respawn timer for all nine field bosses, without touching Sudden Missions or wildlife.
DragonSwordAwakening_ZZZBossRespawn0P_v1.0: The earliest version. Sets field boss respawns to happen instantly, with no cooldown at all, also without touching Sudden Missions or wildlife.
Nine Covered Bosses: Horg the Roamer, Andras the Cave Predator, Pakilus the Soul-Thirsty Spirit, Hagen the Dark Necromancer, Tyrant Karon, the Scratch Rack, Octavia the Hungry Eyes, Lavanis the Flame Ashfeather, and Barpedin the Overwhelming Darkness.
Untouched Other Systems: Normal monster, weekly monster, gathering point, and mining point timers stay exactly as they are in every version.

Download your preferred version and extract the archive to your PC.

Fully close the game first. It reads the Pak file once at startup and locks the folder while running.
Install only one of the three files at a time. Installing more than one causes a conflict, since all three modify the same boss respawn table.
Copy your chosen .pak file into SteamLibrary/steamapps/common/DragonSword Awakening/DS/Content/Paks. A mods subfolder also works, since the game scans subfolders.
Launch the game normally. No launcher, script, or load order management is required.
To uninstall, delete the file. No official game files or save data are affected.
To switch between versions, delete your currently installed file first, then add the new one.

The full version’s wildlife respawn covers 1,376 animal spawn points. A very short countdown can make the main world feel noticeably more crowded. A slower wildlife respawn variant may arrive in the future if the current pacing feels too dense. Installing more than one of these three files at once causes a conflict, since load order then decides which respawn values actually apply.
