Mortal Shell II Ultimate Engine Tweaks (Anti-Stutters – More Performance – Lower Latency – Better Clarity – Lossless) Mod v2.1
Mortal Shell II’s default Unreal Engine settings leave stuttering, latency, and softer image clarity on the table. Ultimative Engine-Tweaks replaces the game’s Engine.ini with a custom setup the creator built and tested across 50 or more Unreal Engine 5 titles. It targets CPU, GPU, RAM, and SSD tweaks together, removing film grain and chromatic aberration while sharpening upscaling and anti-aliasing. As a result, you get less stutter, better performance, lower input latency, and sharper clarity with no visual loss.
Was ist inbegriffen?
- Full Engine.ini Overhaul: Combines CPU, GPU, RAM, and SSD-focused tweaks to cut stuttering and improve overall stability.
- Less Texture Pop-in: Stops textures from popping in late or getting stuck at low quality, while also lowering RAM usage and out-of-memory crash risk compared to the previous version.
- Cleaner Picture Clarity: Removes film grain and chromatic aberration, smooths out motion blur to reduce smearing, and sharpens DLSS or FSR upscaling to cut down ghosting and shimmering.
- VRR and No VRR Variants: Ships as two builds: one for setups with Variable Refresh Rate (G-Sync or FreeSync) turned on, and one for setups where it’s off.
Warum Sie diesen Mod brauchen
Default Unreal Engine settings rarely take full advantage of modern hardware. Additionally, stuttering and texture pop-in can undercut an otherwise smooth game. This setup fixes both issues directly. Therefore, you get a steadier, sharper experience without losing any visual quality.
Wie man anfängt
- Open the game once and close it before installing.
- Check whether your GPU control panel and your display’s own settings both have Variable Refresh Rate turned on.
- Herunterladen der VRR variant if both show it turned on, or the Kein VRR variant if they don’t.
- Extract Engine.ini and paste it into %localappdata%/MortalShell2/Saved/Config/Windows.
- For Linux, Steam Machine, or Steam Deck, paste it into SteamLibrary-folder/steamapps/compatdata/2584270/pfx/drive_c/users/steamuser/AppData/Local/MortalShell2/Saved/Config/Windows stattdessen.
- Right-click the file, open Properties, and enable Read-Only, then apply the change.
- To uninstall, delete the modded Engine.ini file. The game reverts to its defaults on the next launch.
Gut zu wissen
Do not use this alongside other optimization mods, since conflicting Engine.ini changes can cause problems. It still works fine alongside any other type of mod. In-game, set the Sharpness slider to 0 or Disabled for the best results, though you can leave it at your own preference.
