Single-player missions in Ace Combat 8: Wings of Theve give you a fixed set of special weapons and missile guidance. The Single-player Weapon Pack – Tonitrus IEWS APS and Proportional Navigation mod adds optional weapons while keeping every original one. Its core places dinput8.dll y steam_appid.txt beside AceCombat8.exe, so the game loads the added content. As a result, you choose exactly which weapons and which guidance scope to add.

Tonitrus (TONI): Calls down a laser-designated strike from 5 km by default, with a 1,500 m maximum damage radius and unlimited reserve ammunition.
Universal IEWS+: Keeps the original 26-second support and jamming effects at 3,200 m range, then reloads in 0.5 seconds with unlimited reserve ammunition.
Active Protection System: Grants 30 seconds of immediate damage protection, and a 900 m shield intercepts hostile projectiles after a 1.4-second charge.
Proportional Navigation: Offers three exclusive scopes, Player MSL Only, Player Guided Missiles, and All Factions, or you can leave guidance disabled.
Cloud Recovery: Lengthens the default cloud-blast contraction from about 3.12 seconds to 50 seconds, so recovery takes far longer.

Por qué necesitas este mod
Every weapon is optional, so you keep the original weapons and add only what you want. Since the game keeps its two native special-weapon slots, you can combine the new weapons with one guidance scope. However, testing did not cover every aircraft, mission, or module combination.
Cómo empezar

Descarga la versión que prefieras y descomprime el archivo en tu ordenador.
First, exit the game normally.
Next, move any dinput8.dll from another loader out of Game\Binaries\Win64, since this mod places its own copy there.
Then, for the guided route, extract the whole ACE8 V18.5 Installer archive and double-click Install.bat.
If Windows reports Access denied, right-click Install.bat and choose Run as administrator.
Choose English or Simplified Chinese for the installer.
Enter the ACE COMBAT 8 root folder that contains the Juego folder. You can press Enter when it detects the right Steam installation.
Afterward, pick TONI, IEWS+y APS independently, and choose one guidance scope or Disabled.
Choose the language for the added weapon text, then review your selection and confirm it.
Instead, for the manual route, use the ACE8 V18.5 Manual Install archive and back up any files you will replace.
Merge Core\Game into your game root.
Next, merge the Juego folder from each weapon module you want. These modules are OptionalMods\Tonitrus, OptionalMods\IEWS_Plusy OptionalMods\APS.
Add zero or one guidance module. Choose from OptionalMods\Guidance_Player_MSL, OptionalMods\Guidance_Playery OptionalMods\Guidance_All_Factions.
Optionally, merge the Juego de la carpeta Language\en o Language\zh-CN to set the weapon text language.
Keep each module’s .pak, .sig, .utocy .ucas files together, and never copy every OptionalMods folder at once.
When you switch guidance later, back up and remove the old guidance module first.
To add the 10 km range, replace the four TONI files with the ones from ACE8 V18.5 TONI 10km Manual.
If you know cooked Unreal Engine assets, open PAK Parameter Editing EN to edit the configurable values.
Finally, start Game\Binaries\Win64\AceCombat8.exe directly, or use a desktop shortcut to it.
To uninstall, run Install.bat again and use its uninstall option, or restore your own backups after a manual install.

Información útil

This mod is for single-player use with the supported Steam Windows x64 game build.
The weapon text language comes from ACE8-MOD-language.ini en Game\Binaries\Win64, and you restart the game after changing it. Use Language=en for English or Language=zh-CN for Chinese.
The 10 km upgrade needs the main core, and the in-game description may still show 5 km.
Never combine this core with older TONI or APS resources, since missing settings cause errors.
