Windrose Expanded Pickup Radius Mod v1.2

                    
Chopping a tree or finishing off an enemy in Windrose should feel rewarding. Instead, loot scatters across the ground and forces you to chase every item manually before something despawns or another player grabs it. The Expanded Pickup Radius mod ends that entirely. It triples the auto-pickup range, pulling dropped items and resources directly toward you the moment they hit the ground. Consequently, you stay focused on the action rather than running laps around your own kills.

Why You Need This Mod
Every second you spend chasing scattered drops is a second wasted. Furthermore, in multiplayer sessions those drops can disappear to other players or simply despawn before you reach them. This mod eliminates that friction completely, covering roughly 10 meters of pull radius. That range handles an entire tree’s worth of scattered logs without pulling in drops from a nearby node. Moreover, it runs entirely in the background, so your gameplay loop stays uninterrupted from the moment you load in.
How to Get Started
Step 1: Install UE4SS

Download the mod and extract the archive to your PC.
Descargar UE4SS from GitHub. Scroll to the Assets section and download the latest zip file.
Extract the zip and place the contents into your game’s Win64 folder: Windrose\R5\Binaries\Win64\
Vaya a Windrose\R5\Binaries\Win64\ue4ss\ y abrir UE4SS-settings.ini in Notepad.
Encuentra el [EngineVersionOverride] section and update the values to:

MajorVersion = 5

MinorVersion = 6

Save the file.

Step 2: Install the Mod

Extract the mod zip and drop the PickupRadius folder into: Windrose\R5\Binaries\Win64\ue4ss\Mods\
Verify the folder structure looks like this:

ue4ss\Mods\PickupRadius\Scripts\main.lua
Launch Windrose. The mod activates automatically 3 seconds after you spawn in.
To disable the mod for a session, open the in-game console with F10 and type pickupradiusoff. To re-enable it, type pickupradius.
To uninstall completely, remove the PickupRadius folder from the ue4ss\Mods\ directory and relaunch the game.

Good to Know

For multiplayer, installing the mod server-side delivers the best experience. Place dwmapi.dll y el ue4ss\ folder in your server’s Win64 directory using the same paths as Step 1, then install the mod as in Step 2. The mod will then pull loot toward the nearest player for everyone simultaneously.
Some hosting providers, including G-Portal, may block dwmapi.dll from loading, preventing the server from starting. If that happens, remove the file and contact your host about UE4SS compatibility. PAK-based mods are unaffected by this issue.
Only loot that drops after the mod loads will pull toward you. Pre-existing world items stay in place, so you will not accidentally collect loot left by other players while passing by.
To verify the mod is running, check UE4SS.log en su Win64\ue4ss\ folder after launching. A successful load shows: [PickupRadius] Mod loaded. Radius=1000.0
