A good tactic is to make full use of the drone that most Operators come equipped with to scout out your surrounding area before planning your next move. 
Uplay Renown:

If you go to Uplay (you may need to install an app) and select the ‘Rewards’ option you will be able to spend 40 Uplay points to get 200 Renown. If you do this along with watching the 3 tutorials you will have 1,000 Renown which is enough to unlock two operators immediately at the start of the game.
Easy Tutorial Renown:

You can earn an easy 800 Renown by watching the 3 tutorials that can be accessd from the ‘Main’ menu. You can get through the tutorials faster by skipping the cinematics. The 800 Renown you get from doing this is enough points to purchase a starting Operator of your choosing.
