Close the game completely before installing.
Ouvrir SteamLibrary/steamapps/common/The Blood of Dawnwalker/Dawnwalker/Binaries/Win64, the folder containing Dawnwalker.exe.
Back up any existing dwmapi.dll file and ue4ss folder if you already have UE4SS installed.
Move your previous UE4SS installation out of the Win64 folder first. Never merge this package with an older RC3 or RC4 version.
Extract the mod’s contents directly into that Win64 folder.
Confirm dwmapi.dll and the ue4ss folder now sit next to Dawnwalker.exe.
Start the game through Steam and reach the main menu before adding any third-party UE4SS mods.
Close the game again before adding your other UE4SS mods back in, restoring their individual settings as needed.
To uninstall, close the game, then remove dwmapi.dll, README.txt, SHA256SUMS.txt, and the ue4ss folder from Win64. Back up your ue4ss/Mods folder first if you want to keep any user-installed mods.
