Easy 'Good Teamwork' Achievement:
To get this Achievement you must complete level 4-4 with at least two people alive. It is possible though if someone dies before that point you will be able to revive them from a coffin. It is also possible to get this Achievement in Single-Player mode by inserting another controller and carrying player 2 like an item.
Easy 'Addicted' Achievement:
You can get this Achievement easily by running the shortcut to the ice caverns and whenenver you fall down select 'Try again'. Keep repeating this process as until you have the Achievement.
Unlock Characters:
When you complete the following tasks the corresponding character will become unlocked. Note: The Yellow Miner Girl, Purple Pirate Girl, Green Mariachi Man and Blue Bear Suit Man will appear in random coffins in the four main areas (one per area).
Black Van Helsing:
At top of Haunted Castle in a coffin.
Blue Bear Suit Man:
Coffin in Mines, Jungle, Ice Cave, or Temple.
Cyan:
Coffin in Mines, Jungle, Ice Cave, or Temple.
Green Mariachi Man:
Coffin in Mines, Jungle, Ice Cave, or Temple.
Leopard Suit Man:
Complete the game.
Lime:
Coffin in Mines, Jungle, Ice Cave, or Temple.
Meat Boy:
At the bottom of The Worm in a sac.
Purple Pirate Girl:
Coffin in Mines, Jungle, Ice Cave, or Temple.
The Cyclops:
Purchased from the Black Market for $10,000; stolen; or found in a coffin after it is seen at the Black Market.
The Eskimo:
In a coffin in a Yeti Kingdom level.
The Golden Monk:
In a coffin the City of Gold.
The Jungle Warrior:
Defeat Olmec and get to the exit.
The Ninja:
In a coffin in Olmec's Chamber.
The Robot:
In a capsule in the Mothership.
The Round Boy:
In a coffin in a Tiki Village level.
The Round Girl:
In a coffin in a Spider's Lair level.
The Viking:
In a coffin in Flooded Cavern or Restless Undead levels.
Van Helsing:
In a coffin on the top of the Haunted Castle level.
Yang:
Complete Hell.
Yellow Miner Girl:
Coffin in Mines, Jungle, Ice Cave, or Temple.
Hidden 8-Bit Spelunker Sprite:
Select the 'Adventure' option and go to the tutorial door when you are in the lobby. Play ALL the tutorial levels until you get to the final one. At this point go to the shop and kill the shopkeeper. Then keep bombing down the shop floor until you find the hidden 8-bit Spelunker sprite.
