Gothic 1 Remake has no passive health or mana recovery, which makes resource management feel more punishing during longer exploration sessions. The Regen Mana (or Health) mod slowly restores mana and health over time with configurable tick rates and cooldown delays. Furthermore, each stat can be tuned independently or disabled entirely through the included config file. Consequently, the game’s survival feel stays intact while reducing the frustration of constant potion dependency.

Passive mana regeneration, defaulting to 1% of max mana every 20 seconds.
Passive health regeneration, defaulting to 1 point plus 1% of max health every 15 seconds.
20-second mana cooldown after casting and 30-second health cooldown after taking damage.
Configurable G1R_RegenMana.ini for tick rates, amounts, and cooldowns.
Regen values round up to the next 0.1 point by default.

This mod is useful if you want passive recovery to reduce potion reliance without making the game feel entirely riskless. The cooldown system keeps combat meaningful since regen only starts after you step away from damage or spellcasting. Additionally, every value in the config file is tunable, so you can tighten or loosen the regen to match your preferred difficulty level.
Wie man anfängt

Download the mod archive and extract it to your PC.
Installieren Sie UE4SS experimental build into your Gothic 1 Remake folder if you have not already:
Gothic 1 Remake\G1R\Binaries\Win64\ue4ss\

Copy the mod folder into the UE4SS Mods directory so the result looks like:
Gothic 1 Remake\G1R\Binaries\Win64\ue4ss\Mods\G1R_RegenMana\

The mod folder includes enabled.txt, so no changes to mods.txt oder mods.json are needed.
Launch Gothic 1 Remake. Regen begins automatically.
To adjust regen values, edit G1R_RegenMana.ini inside the mod folder and restart the game.
To uninstall, delete the G1R_RegenMana folder from the Mods directory.

Good to Know

Diese Mod erfordert UE4SS experimental build 3.0.1-953 or newer.
Regeneration is not paused during combat, menus, or pause state.
Open panels may not update live while visible. Close and reopen them if a displayed number looks stale.
On Linux, add WINEDLLOVERRIDES="dwmapi=n,b" %command% to your Steam launch options.
