Alan Wake PC Version Made Profits After 48 Hours Only

The PC version of Remedy's Alan Wake has recouped all its development and marketing expenses in less than 2 days.

This came as a surprise even to Remedy who has hesitated for a year before porting the game from Xbox 360 to PC. At one point before launch, Remedy ruled out the possibility of the PC version completely and expressed its belief that Xbox 360 is "the right platform" for the game.
