Best of E3-Nominierungen bekannt gegeben

Es wird erwartet, dass Halo 2 und Half-Life 2 die Preisverleihung dominieren werden. Die Nominierungen für die "Best of Show E3 2004" wurden bekannt gegeben und enthalten einige Überraschungen für diejenigen, die die Messe besucht haben. Die Nominierungen decken die gesamte Palette der auf der diesjährigen E3 ausgestellten Produkte ab, und die Gewinner werden am 8. Juni bekannt gegeben.

In diesem Jahr erreichte die E3 ihren Höhepunkt mit einem riesigen Angebot an spannenden Titeln, aber auch mit Hardware-Innovationen und glanzvollen Präsentationen. Nicht nur Nintendos DS und Sonys PSP beherrschten die Ausstellungsfläche, sondern auch spannende Angebote wie die zwei Grafikkarten in einem PC (Video-Array-Technologie) von Alienware, eine neue Konsole von Infinium Labs und Hunderte von Peripheriegeräten hielten die Spieler in Atem.

Spiele bildeten das Rückgrat der E3, und die großen Favoriten wie Halo 2, Half-Life 2 und Doom 3 waren umgeben von Überraschungstiteln wie Jade Empire, F.E.A.R. und Metroid Prime 2: Echoes.
