Killzone 3 Multiplayer Goes Free This Week

In its latest Official PlayStation Blogcast, Sony revealed that it will release a standalone free version of Killzone 3's multiplayer mode.

The free version will include all the maps, but it will have a level cap. Players who reach level 15 will have to pay $15 to remove the level cap and to unlock all weapons and skills.

Killzone 3 was released a year ago. The free standalone multiplayer version will be released on February 28^th, 2012 in North America. There is no word yet about European launch.
