Konami verbietet das Vorladen von MGS V: Phantom Pain auf PC

Ever on the lookout for ways to piss off hardcore gamers, Konami has decided not to allow Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain to be pre-loaded on Steam but not on consoles.

“Unfortunately PC Steam will not have a pre-load option,” said Konami’s online community manager, Robert Allen Peeler on Twitter. “However players will be able to pre-load on console.”

Adding insult to injury, Peeler admitted that Konami doesn’t have “a specific reason” for the decision beyond that it is a “pretty common practice for PC/Steam users.”

Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain is scheduled for release on September 1st, 2015.
