XBox Release Plans Unveiled

Microsoft have officially given date and form to their release plans for the XBox.

It remains to be seen whether it will succeed. One thing is certain consoles don't sell consoles. Games sell consoles… Microsoft have announced that upon launch 15 – 20 titles will be available the question on every gamers lips is "will they be worth it?"

Xbox will be available at an estimated retail price of $299 USD.

Starting Nov. 8, 2001, Xbox consoles will be available for purchase at retail outlets throughout North America.
Quantities
600,000 – 800,000 units will be available on day one.
