Developed and published by StreumOn Studio, DAIMON BLADES brings the team’s signature brand of European jank and brilliance back to PC. Launched into Steam Early Access on September 3, 2025, this brutal first-person slasher serves as a prequel set 2,000 years before their cult classic E.Y.E: Cibermancia Divina. Instead of guns and cybernetics, you are handed a cursed, talking sword and thrown headfirst into a relentless roguelite meat grinder.
Core Gameplay

First-Person Melee Chaos: Combat is fast, incredibly bloody, and deeply satisfying. You must constantly balance light attacks, heavy swings, parries, and dodges while navigating arenas packed with nightmarish enemies. Furthermore, staying still is a guaranteed death sentence, forcing you to adopt a hyper-aggressive playstyle reminiscent of modern DOOM titles.
Living Weapons: You don’t just upgrade your gear; you literally bond with it. Each weapon is inhabited by a procedurally generated daimon that possesses its own skill tree, personality, and relationship meter. Consequently, treating your blade poorly might cause it to rebel mid-run, adding a layer of unpredictable friction to every expedition.
Progresión Roguelita: Runs consist of procedurally generated arenas spanning nine distinct biomes, culminating in brutal boss fights. At the end of each sub-level, you draft temporary upgrades and alchemy powers to push deeper. Additionally, you can tap out early to secure loot for permanent meta-progression, or risk everything for greater rewards.
Co-Op Carnage: While the game is fully playable offline as a solo experience, you can squad up with three other players online. The chaos multiplies exponentially in a group, turning the dark fantasy battlefields into an absolute fireworks display of flying limbs and particle effects.

DAIMON BLADES feels like Vermintide 2 collided at high speed with Hades. It takes the weighty, visceral first-person melee combat of the former and injects it with the randomized, run-based addiction of the latter. However, it proudly wears StreumOn’s trademark weirdness, featuring deep lore, punishing difficulty spikes, and a slightly chaotic UI that mainstream polish-chasers might find overwhelming.
