Kingdom Rush 6: Genesis TD

Kingdom Rush 6: Genesis TD comes from developer and publisher Ironhide Game Studio. The game released on September 24, 2026 for PC through Steam, as well as for iOS and Android. This prequel sends players back to the early days of Linirea. Their goal is to stop a young Vez’nan before darkness takes hold.

Kingdom Rush 6 is a tower defense game built around waves of enemies on fixed paths. First, players place towers along the road before each wave arrives. Then they upgrade those towers and call on two heroes to hold the line. Spells add emergency options, so a well-timed strike can save a failing defense. As a result, every stage rewards planning and quick reactions.

Each of the 18 stages brings its own mechanics and hidden Easter eggs. Additionally, the campaign crosses three landscapes: the Citadel, the Stormcloud Depths, and Arcania. Enemies come from five factions, and six colossal bosses stand in the way. Meanwhile, the signature Kingdom Rush humor keeps the tone light. Notably, the game returns to the lands of the first Kingdom Rush, fifteen years after that release.

Flexible Roster: Players pick from 12 heroes, 15 towers, and 9 spells. Together, these choices let each player build a team around a favorite strategy.
Upgrade Trees: Every hero and spell has its own upgrade tree. Additionally, global tower upgrades can be retuned between stages, so experiments cost little.
Five Game Modes: Every stage unlocks Classic Rush, Iron Challenge, Blitz, Hero Party, and Spell Rush. Classic Rush uses the original Kingdom Rush arsenal, whereas Hero Party hands players four heroes and no spells.
Steam Extras: The game offers more than 50 achievements and Steam Cloud saves. Moreover, controller support makes couch play simple.
