Dreamfall Chapters ya es una exclusiva de PS4 para consolas de tiempo limitado

Red Thread Games announced today that Dreamfall Chapters will be PS4 timed “console exclusive.”

The game was originally meant to be released on PC in 5 sequential episodes over the span of a year starting within the next 3 months. With today’s announcement, it is clear that PS4 versions of the episodes will be released alongside the PC ones.

Episodic game format has failed with games such as Sin: Emergence which stopped after the first episode and Half Life 2 whose fans are still waiting for Episode 3 since 2007. In fact, most people believe that Valve has ditched HL2 Episode 3 in favor of a full-fledged Half-Life 3. On the other hand, episodic format has been a success in adventure games such as Telltale’s The Walking Dead and The Wolf Among Us.
