Be sure there are no leech towers around when you drop a power, otherwise they’ll steal energy to create more defences. Always check the route ahead and make sure you’re not throwing your powers away for the sake of it. Keep’em you’ll need’em.

Remember to keep your vehicles moving around the line. If one gets too badly damaged, shift it to the back.
